ASHBURN, VA – February 6, 2018 – The Ashburn Arthur Murray Dance Center has moved to a new studio in Ashburn Crossing, just off of Loudoun County Parkway (directions). The new space is a dancer’s dream with three ballrooms, more than 6,000 square feet, floating floors constructed especially for dancing, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The move provides more room for individual and group dance instruction, as well as dance practice parties.
To celebrate, Arthur Murray Ashburn will host a grand opening on Friday, February 16 at the new location, 21140 Ashburn Crossing Drive, Suite 105. The event will include a group class at 7 p.m. followed by open dancing, refreshments, door prizes and exhibitions by professional dancers. The party is open to all current and past students, those considering dance lessons, and all dance fans. No dance experience is necessary.
The Arthur Murray Dance Center of Ashburn is owned by Gabriel and Leigh Gamboa, who have been teaching dance since the mid-1990’s. “The new ballrooms are really a response to our community and will benefit our most popular classes,” says Gabe Gamboa of the larger location.
The Gamboas have owned their Ashburn studio since 2007, but Arthur Murray Dance Centers have been teaching social dance for 106 years. The individual and couples’ lessons continue to fill a timeless need for dance skills.
“Regardless of who you are, learning to dance is an important skill,” says Gabe Gamboa. “Now more than ever, dancing is social, great exercise, and fun. It provides active, quality time for a couple, and a big confidence boost for anyone who learns.”
